Snyder Plates

The Snyder Royal speed plate was originally offered in the late 70s and was intended to position itself among the elite speed skaters of the time. Essentially a super light version of the Snyder Imperial, never really caught on much in the 70s but has seen a new following for the future. Completely redesigned using state of the art machining techniques we have drastically reduced weight but not sacrificing strength. For those who want an even lighter plate, titanium is offered as a king pin and axle replacement; truly one of the lightest plates on the market. As always, every Snyder plate is 100% made in the USA.

The Advantage is a lightweight version of the Super Deluxe. Extruded 7000 series aluminum is light weight and strong making this plate a great alternative to the standard Super deluxe. Precision CNC machining makes each and every plate identical to the one before it, when buying an Advantage plate you know you are getting something perfect, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Forged trucks for superior strength, steel king pin and steel axles are standard but titanium can be an option, rubber cushions standard offering superior feel feedback, and adjustable pivots giving the skater complete control over performance. 7mm axles standard.

The Imperial offers superior feel without compromising stability. The Imperial offers 45 degree double action trucks utilizing a unique skating configuration where the action takes place over the pivot pin allowing the skater to rock-over quicker and deeper than ever before. The Imperial as long been considered the best figure plate on the market. Dropped forged aluminum, spring steel, or 7075 aluminum are offered as a plate option, forged aluminum trucks and hangers for superior strength and light weight, steel axles and steel connecting parts are standard but aluminum or titanium parts are optional, rubber cushions for enhanced feel and feedback, and adjustable pivot pins for complete control. There are 3 different models in the Imperial line: standard, figure, and dance; each designed with a specific purpose and each with different qualities.
